Better to prevent than treat

Preventing any health problem is easier, less expensive and better all around. When a health problem occurs the doctors visits, insurance fees, days missed from work, expenses, and the list goes on. Easy steps you can take to prevent health problems and to feel better. First is healthy diet, eat right and you will avoid a whole list of problems: getting fat, heart attack, feeling tired, stomach problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, and so on. Second is to exercise, take vitamins, drink plenty of water, take time to relax, get your regular check ups. These are just few things everybody can start doing now to become healthier and it does not cost much especially when you compare it to a doctors bill or hospital bill.

Don’t give up

Trying to loose weight can be very discouraging. Especially when the pounds don’t shed. You are on a diet, you exercise, and do everything you can. You step on a scale and you’ve lost .02lb and you feel like you should of lost all 10 pounds or more. Look at it this way. If it took you three, five or ten years to gain the weight don’t expect to loose it all in a month. It’s not realistic. First of all make sure to set realistic goals for yourself. Your goal should be to loose three pounds or less in two weeks. Take one day at a time. If you get of your plan, you eat something you shouldn’t have or you don’t exercise for a day or two, don’t get discourage and totally give up. Don’t punish yourself for it. Just pick up where you left off. Get up the next day and start fresh. Think positive thoughts only and say only what gives you strength. What you say, you will become. Its just as important to say the right thing, not just to do the right thing. Loosing weight is a process. What really works is changing your life style. Not dieting but making right choices that will help you loose weight now and keep it off in the future. Afcourse not only loosing weight is important becoming healthy and staying healthy is even more important. Don’t stress out. It will happen if you don’t give up.
